Once upon a time, there was a very clean and beautiful river that was as blue as the summer sky. The river was in a forest. The forest was very peaceful and even had some very pretty animals. One day, an explorer was venturing and found the forest. He went into the forest and saw the river. Surprised by such beauty, the man began capturing pictures of the forest and river. He embraced the scenic view again then went home.

The next day, the explorer posted the pictures on the internet and started telling people about the beautiful river. The caused a tizzy as everyone wanted to see this newly discovered gem. People began visiting and hosting parties at the river and swimming in the river. Soon, the river turned brownish and the forest became dirty. The animals started to leave, and many beautiful plants died from pollution.

One day while browsing YouTube, a boy saw a video of the place. He was astonished, unsure if it was real or not. He told his mom that he was going out and he went to the forest. When he saw the river and the forest he got sad. The river was nothing like the video; neither was the forest. He had to do something about it. The boy told his friends what he saw and what they need to do to help. His friends agreed and planned to take action immediately after school.
The group of kids met at the river with trash bags, gloves, seeds, and a few shovels. They got to work as soon as possible. They picked up trash and planted new plants. It took a couple of days for the forest and the river to be return to normal. But it worked. The river was flowing blue-tifully and the animals reclaimed their habitats. The kids looked around and felt great about the outcome. To make sure that no one pollutes the forest or river again, the kids posted biodegradable signs that read, “Be part of the solution, not part of pollution.”
Feeling guilty and responsible for the destruction of the beautiful forest, the explorer vowed to keep the forest and river clean. The people also pledged. The forest and river remained beautiful, and everyone lived happily ever after.
