Karson was getting ready for tonight’s soccer game. His dog Max was outside playing with a ball. Once his mom dropped him off, he went over to his team to hear some last minute pep talk. It was Karsons team kick off. The first half of the game was not that good. Karson was running with the ball and tripped over the ball. The other team got the ball and scored a goal. During kick off, JB (one of Karson’s teammates) ran to the other team’s goal and kicked the ball. The other team blocked the ball and kicked the ball to the other half of the field.

Second half, Max saw the soccer ball by the goal. He ran and started running with the ball. Max got to the other end of the field and kicked the ball into the goal. “1-1!” the announcer yelled. It was the other teams kick off. The other team ran to the goal. Max stole the ball and passed to Karson. Karson kicked and scored! “2-1!” The announcer shouted. With just 3 minutes on the clock, the other team kicked off the ball. Max took the ball again! One of the other teammates on the other team fouled max. Max was very hurt. He had to sit out for the rest of the game. JB was going to do the free kick.

He passed to one of his teammates, but then the ball got taken away. The other team went to the goal and scored. “2-2!” the announcer called. with 30 seconds on the clock, Karson’s team kicked the ball off. Max came back to the sidelines to cheer on is team. Karson passed to JB and JB kicked the ball into the goal! “3-2!’ the announcer shouted. It was a buzzer beater! Karson and his team were very happy they had won.

They would do the same in the next 5 games. Then to their championship. Karson’s team won the best team in the league award. He was very glad and happy.
