As we all remember, Jimmy was thrown into the dungeon. He was all alone, no one around to help. Jimmy remembered that he had bought a bag of supplies. The guard’s forgot to take it. He found a pack of bobby pins in his bag. He took one out and inserted the pin into the lock. It clicked open and the cell door was unlocked!
Jimmy ventured through the dungeon, trying to find an exit. It was very dark, so Jimmy took out his flashlight. While walking through the dungeon, he saw is friend Mark in one of the cells. He looked very frightened. Mark lifted his head and saw Jimmy walking down the dungeon.
“Help me get out of here!” Mark whispered.
Turns out the guard had caught Mark when he tried to escape last time. Jimmy began to walk toward the cell when he saw a guard walking down into the dungeon.
“Quick!” Mark told him. “The guard is coming!”
Jimmy found some crates and hid behind them. He saw the guard look around, confused. With a shrug, the guard walked out of the dungeon. Jimmy ran towards the cell and unlocked it with the pin he had. Together, they found the exit and escaped.
When Jimmy and Mark got out of the dungeon, they saw that the town had no people in it. There were just a couple of guards packing up their last things before heading to a long tunnel with all of the other people.
“They were just going to leave us here, to DIE!” Jimmy told Mark.
One guard saw the two boys and screamed, ” Hey!”
The other gaurd turned around and saw the boys. The took some weapons and began to run towrad the boys.
“We got to get out of here!” Mark exclaimed.
They took toward the steps where they had first entered the village. The guards were catching up, but when they got to the steps, they stopped. They just stood there, not moving at all.
“What happened?” Jimmy asked. “I have no clue.” Mark replied. “But we need to leave now.”
The two boys soon went home. The cave drawings stopped glowing yellow. The light faded away. When they arrived, their parents weren’t worried at all. In fact, it still read Saturday on the calendar.
“So how was it?” Jimmys mom asked. “Was it fun?”
“Uh, yeah, I guess.” Jimmy told her.
When the next weekend came, Jimmy went to his friend’s house, Mark. He talked about the tunnel they saw.
“Maybe we should go there too.” He told his friend.
“Oh no!” Mark said. “The first time was horrible! We could have died.”
It would not be the last time that the boys go to the cave, in fact, they would go there again, next week, for another adventure.
