Dangerous Night

It was October 30th. People were out decorating their homes, getting Halloween costumes, and making sure they were ready to go trick-or-treating. Jack however didn’t feel to good. He had a feeling something bad was going to happen.

The next day, Jack was sitting outside by the school, talking to his friend Michael.

“I have a strange feeling that something is gonna happen tonight,” Jack told his friend.

“You say that every Halloween and nothing happens,” Michael replied.

“Well this Halloween, it… it feels different,” Jack said. “I had a dream about Halloween decorations coming to life, and it felt so real.”

“Don’t worry,” Michael told Jack. “Everything is gonna be fine. Nothing’s going to happen.”

But that night, something did happen, and it wasn’t good.

Right as everyone was preparing to go trick-or-treating, a church bell rung 3 times. The clock had struck 12. Suddenly, all of the Halloween decorations came to life. They started to attack trick-or-treaters. A giant skeleton was grabbing children and taking them to the graveyard. A couple of zombies were also dragging some people to the graveyard. Jack stayed inside, watching.

“I knew it!” Jack said to himself.

Jack called Michael, who hadn’t even decided which costume to wear.

“Michael look outside!”

Michael looked outside and his face went cold.

“What the heck is going on out there?” Michael asked.

“I have no idea, but I had a feeling something like this would happen.” Jack replied.

“You were right,” Michael said. “We gotta save the people.”

Michael and Jack ran to the graveyard, ready for anything that came their way. When Michael and Jack got to the graveyard, they saw the Halloween decorations preparing a spell in a giant cauldron. They were planning on using the humans’ soul to turn themselves to humans and live forever.

“Stop right there!” Jack and Michael said in unison.

All the decorations turned and looked at the two boys.

A witch laughed. “What are you going to do to us?”

The other decorations laughed with her.

“It’s time for you guys to stop or else.” Michael said.

“Or what,” a giant spider said.

“We didn’t want to do this,” Jack said.

Jack and Michael pulled out Christmas bell and shook it. For the people, the bell was soft and beautiful, but for the Halloween decorations, it was the most painful thing ever. The decorations screeched and fell to the ground. One by one, the decorations souls were dragged away and put back into the people. Finally, the last Halloween decoration fell to the ground.

“I knew it would work!” Jack said.

When Jack was dreaming about the decorations coming to life, he had a bell that he used to get rid of the decorations.

“That was easier than expected.” Michael said.

The mayor walked up to the two boys.

“You two are the bravest boys I’ve seen.” the mayor said.

The next day, they were awarded with bravery badges for saving the town, and everyone thanked them. It wasn’t over yet though. A powerful wizard decoration hid instead of going to the graveyard.

“Those fools,” the wizard said to himself. “I knew they were going to lose to those people. If only they would’ve listened.”
